Explore an unusual and high quality gallery of African masks, art and sculpture. These pieces have come to us directly from Noah Fishman who has lived and traveled in Mali, Burkina Faso, Tanzania and Democratic Republic of the Congo during the last 4 years. Noah says being invited into native cultures families is a privilege calling for great responsibility. One way he is fulfilling this is to set up a business selling African art On Line and at Stowe Craft Gallery in Stowe, Vermont.
The sale of masks from West Africa provides a livelihood to people living in poverty, promotes cross-cultural understanding while supporting craftsmanship. Noah also works with FINCA International. FINCA provides micro financing to the world's poorest families. With small loans, they can create their own jobs, raise household incomes, and improve their standard of living.
