Vermont Kaleidoscope Festival July, 2010

9th Annual Kaleidoscope Show

A hands on celebration of the kaleidoscope - Art You Hold in Your Hand.

When: Friday & Saturday, July 16-17, 2010, 10 am - 6 pm & Sunday, July 18, 10 am - 2 pm.

Where: Stowe, Vermont at Stowe Craft Gallery at the start of the Mountain Road, Route 108 in Stowe village. On the gallery's outdoor decks overlooking the riverside.


What is a Kaleidoscope Show?

Explore and share the fun of Discovering Art Inside a Kaleidoscope. Kaleidoscopes range from old fashioned cardboard tubes for kids to fine sculptures with top of the line optical effects.

Relax with our color therapy kaleidoscopes or see how a kaleidoscope can be custom made with mementos from your wedding or anniversary.

The public is invited to join artists, collectors, kids and curious on the beautiful outdoor decks and riverside behind Stowe Craft Gallery right in Stowe village for this family friendly, celebration of the Art of the Kaleidoscope

More Kaleidoscope Activities

The show will open at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 16th with a Welcome to the Show and Unveiling of the Kaleidoscopes


Pick up a Ballot. The ballots are your guide to all the kaleidoscopes in the show. As you walk through, mark your ballot to vote for your favorite kaleidoscope interior and exterior.


Saturday, July 17, 5 p.m: You could win a kaleidoscope- Every vote is a entry in the drawing, you do not need to be present to win. Just remember to hand your ballot before you leave the show.

Friday & Saturday, July 16 & 17, 12 Noon - 4 pm: Kaleidoscope making & decorating Mini-Classes For Kids and beginners. ( There is a fee for materials)


Sunday, July 18, The show will run from 10 am - 2 pm. After reorganizing and consolidating, the show will re-open indoors as an exhibit.


Monday, July 19 - Sunday, August 8:
Begining Monday, we will condense the show indoors and to the upper deck so visitors may continue to enjoy exploring the many wonders of kaleidoscopes. The best of the show will be open indoors at Stowe Craft 10 am - 6 pm daily.
