About Wine Caddy Artist - Gunter Scholz

H & K Metal Sculptures and Wine Bottle Holders are produced by a collaboration of American and European artists. Guenter Scholz began with unique metal sculptures welded from nuts and bolts. For many years we displayed and sold his nut and bolt sculptures. But since he created his first single bottle wine caddy - (I think it was either Napoleon or a Hit-man with a Tommy Gun) his imaginative sculptures have really taken off. With their popularity, he has been inspired to design more and more charactures. And now Guenter Scholz coordinates the efforts of several artist designers within H & K sculptures.

History of our Wine Caddies

Our wine caddies and metal sculptures started over 10 years ago as small nut & bolt sculptures from Europe. American artists got involved. They began collaborating with the original artist. Since then, the wine caddies have been a collaberation in design. Each wine caddy is still hand made by European artisans in order to preserve old world quality, look and feel. New wine caddy designs are regularly introduced, while current styles are constantly being updated and improved, as all designs are a work in progress. This is why no two metal sculptures are exactly alike, and may vary from the website images.
