Michael Michaud beautifully renders Boxwood jewelry pieces in this series. His botanical bowfood jewelry pieces of necklaces and earrings look great for everyday wear or dressed up with a little black dress. You are sure to turn heads with these pieces.
Boxwood is an attractive evergreen that can reach heights of thirty or more feet. The slow growing dwarf variety is close clipped (a custom that began in Roman times) to make decorative edgings. The original model for these pieces was made from cuttings taken at George Washington's Mount Vernon. A portion of the sales of this design goes to the support of George Washington's Mount Vernon.
All of these pieces are hand patinaed bronze with white fresh water pearls.
