Stowe Craft Gallery will host a holiday "Think Global, Shop Local" sale and evening reception on December 11 to benefit the Institute for Sustainable Communities. By shopping at the gallery that day, visitors can save on holiday gifts and join ISC in building healthy, vibrant and sustainable communities worldwide.
Shop for a Cause: 10% Off Storewide, & 10% Donated—All Day!
On December 11, Stowe Craft Gallery’s selection of local, handmade and contemporary arts, crafts and jewelry—from over 300 artists—will all be 10% off. The gallery will donate an additional 10% of all the day’s proceeds to ISC. Online shoppers can redeem the 10%/10% offer that same day at www.stowecraft.com by entering the code "ISCDEC" during checkout.5-8pm: Celebration of Local Community
From 5-8pm, shoppers are invited to join a celebration of community here in Vermont. Burlington-based artist Dug Nap, voted by Seven Days readers as Best Visual Artist for 2008 and 2009, will be on hand to present his original works and signed prints.The Bohemian Blues Quartet will serenade visitors, who can enjoy local food and drink provided by Jasper Hill Farm, Red Hen Bakery, Shelburne Farms, Shelburne Vineyards, and Vermont Smoke & Cure.
Guests can also enter a free drawing for local prizes, including a one-year membership to Shelburne Farms and Dug Nap signed print.
