Handmade Furniture Showroom

At Stowe Craft Design we specialize we specialize in contemporary handmade furniture designed and handcrafted in small studios. We believe you can do no better than owning furniture the designer makes in their own studio.

Our Stowe, Vermont showroom is over 1,800 square feet of unique furniture. You can see furniture from over a dozen different furniture makers. The materials and styles vary but the quality is always top of the line.

Custom Made Furniture

In addition to the furnishings, accessories, lighting and art on display we offer custom furniture design. In the past we have created a wide variety of custom pieces like dining tables, side tables, coffee tables, pedestals, home offices, home libraries, entertainment centers, bookcases, bedside stands, sideboards, sofas, rocking chairs and recliners just to mention a few. Wide Variety of Handmade furniture on Display

You will see how each furniture maker brings a special vision to their work. One works in bronze and creates unusual, handmade furniture such as benches and tables. Another is a woodworker who designs wood furniture with a contemporary flair. He favors exotic hardwoods and high tech finishes.

Several other artisans emphasize the natural qualities of carefully selected solid hardwood in their furniture. Another uses farm implements he grew up with in unusual ways as the structure of his chairs. One of our favorite furniture makers creates contemporary tables with the look and feel of wood but, in fact, it is handmade with carefree industrial steel and cement.
