| Sticks was started by Sarah Grant, an abstract painter and college art instructor, in 1992. Since then, it has evolved to feature larger items such as dining sets, beds and armoires. Stowe Craft gallery began representing Sarah's work in 1996. Starting small as well, Stowe Craft has grown to be one of the largest showrooms of Sticks furniture in the country. | Now Sarah has reached new levels in growing the creation of fine handmade furniture. This table and chair set was her entry for the first year of Artprize in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Along with Stephen Fry, President of Concept Design Group, Sticks has created a larger than life dining table and chairs atop the Blue Bridge in downtown Grand Rapids. The table and chairs are embellished with artistic imagery that depicts the bountiful cultural offerings of the city. |
