David Sugich Ultimate Reflections Kaleidoscopes
Fireworks! This is the first thing that comes to mind when viewing one of Sugich's kaleidoscopes. The burst of color and light captured in one of his scopes is mesmerizing! David seems to have brought the combination of of stained glass and glitter wands to the point of "ultimate reflection".
David Sugich - BackgroundDavid Sugich was born in Santa Barbara, California and has a musical and creative background. After 15 years as a stained glass artist, David started making kaleidoscopes. David and wife Nadereh are active in the kaleidoscope world. They encourage new artists and kaleidoscope enthusiasts. The David Sugich song, "Kaleidoscope" has been adopted by Kaleidoscope collectors as their offical anthem.
David says "My Kaleidoscopes are not your typical every day Kaleidoscopes. Kaleidoscopes, as an art form, in the last 15 years has really taken off. I've enjoyed being a part of this movement. I make a variety of 2,3, and 4 mirror Kaleidoscopes which are 2, 2.5, and 3 dimensional in nature. I use domestic, U.S. made, colored glass as the decorative exteriors and dynamically moving, sparkling oil for the object chambers at the end of the mirror system. My scopes create images reminiscent of fireworks, cathedral rose windows, outerspace and psychadelic."
| David & Nadereh have named their kaleidoscope studio "Ultimate Reflections"
Selecting a Sugich-Ultimate Reflection KaleidoscopeThe three insight kaleidoscopes pictured above are all available in a variety of stained glass colors. If you prefer a certain color, please tell us in the comments section of the order form. In addition to irdescent green, blue and red we have a nice pearly white. With all these variations, it is helpful to give us a few choices. Or, just tell us you prefer bright colors or softer colors.
Wands for Sugich KaleidoscopesDavid and Nadereh spend a lot of time selecting and coordinating the colors in their wands with the colors in their stained glass. But, for an Ultimate, Ultimate Reflections Kaleidoscope, many people purchase extra wands in different colors. To change wands, just roll the rubber "O" ring off the ends and put the new wand in place. Those wands are so much fun and it is easy to replace them. So you may want to select one or more extra wands to go with your purchase. |
