Stowe Craft Gallery was originally Stowe Pottery. Then it was all local. Today, our broad selection includes local emerging potters, pottery Stowe Craft has represented for decades and some of the most sought after art pottery in America.

All the handmade pottery shown here is thrown on the potter's wheel using traditional hand building techniques.

It is dishwasher and microwave safe.
Within the individual pottery studio sections you will find dinnerware, serving pieces, tabletop items and decorative pieces. You will see vases, mugs, salt -pepper shakers.

Our pottery is popular to give and receive. We can set up a gift registry and handle all the details so it is fun and easy for everyone.

What makes our selection so distinctive? Each potter seems to have something unique:

McQueeney pottery has bold splash glazes along with one earthy natural glaze. The red splash glaze his been a favorite here in Vermont for many years.

Bill Campbell porcelain pottery is saturated with a complex,multi-layered blue glaze. They are works of art for your table. Each piece is subtly different and completely functional.

The mountain commuter mugs from Roads End Pottery make and excellent and unique gifts for all the coffee and tea drinkers in your life. Each large mug is shaped to avoid spills and splashes, and is glazed with Vermont Mountain landscapes.

A local Vermont potter, Sarah Russell has recently rebuilt her studio. Her Vermont tree bowls, mugs and platters have been popular in the store and here on the web. Sarah's potter makes great wedding gifts and have been included in wedding registries.
