The narrow valleys of Vermont's Piedmont region east of the Green Mountains hold many small farms, many with sheep. In the summer, clouds build by afternoon but sun prevails most days. The diffused light makes these small worlds glow. This is what this print is inspired by. As with its companion prints "Snow Light", "Leaf Light", and "Blossom Light" Sabra Field cut these woodblocks and proofed them at her studio in East Barnard. The Archival Pigment Prints are made at Northlight Editions in White River Junction. This is an archival pigment print and an open addition. First created in 2009. This print is available framed or as a print. Contact us if you would be interested in learning more about our framing process.
