Main Street, Stowe, VT 05672\u00a0\u00a0 12-5pm Tuesday to Saturday<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Stowe Craft Gallery (across from the Stowe pedestrian covered bridge) 55 Mountain Road, Stowe, VT 05672 10am-6pm everyday<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\">Sabra: The Life &amp; Work of Printmaker Sabra Field<\/h3>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/JqnkiF-Xsco\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>This documentary, a labor of love written, directed and edited by Hollywood screenwriter and director Bill Phillips (Christine, The Beans of Egypt Maine, There Goes the Neighborhood) profiles the life and career of<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><strong>Sabra Field<\/strong>. Born in 1935, the Vermont-based Field achieved fame and recognition for her masterful printmaking. The documentary explores Field&#8217;s most commonly seen and circulated images &#8211; which celebrate American pastoral motifs in New England &#8211; and asks why some critics have long dismissed the pastoral as an appropriate subject for contemporary art.
