Painted Dragonfly Necklace with Tanzanite

This Ananda Khalsa necklace is so sweet and dainty. A small round painting of a dragonfly with a violet on a round piece of watercolor is delicately painted with acrylic paints. It is then placed behind hand ground glass and inside a silver round bezel. A little petite tear drop shaped stone of tanzanite dangles form the bezeled painting.

Dragonflys are said to have much meaning and symbolism. With it�s delicate and graceful wings reflecting light, the Dragonfly represents the light of a new day and joyfulness. The Dragonfly paintings by Ananda Khalsa are also a very popular design for Stowe Craft Gallery.

The pendant of this necklace measures 1 1/8" in length. The chain measures 16 inches in length and has a "S" hook closure.
