Wall Art from unusual materials showing October 3-12 at Stowe Craft Design
All sculpture is three-dimensional, but beyond that, it’s as diverse as the artists who create it. This art show features several Vermont artists who create wall hangings which include elements of landscape and unusual materials.
This event is being held as part of the 5 th annual American Craft Week. The American Craft Week began as a small, grassroots effort to enhance the knowledge and appreciation of handmade craft. Now, entering its fifth year, American Craft Week is a well-established, national event, celebrating the tradition of American craft in artists’ studios, galleries, museums, schools, and festivals. This year’s official celebration will be held Oct. 3 – 12, during which hundreds of diverse events will occur in all 50 states.
