CJ Hockett Wildlife Photography Prints

Discover our selection of wildlife photography and its unsurpassed beauty. These majestic moments in nature were captured by Vermont photographer CJ Hockett.

Wildlife Photography

Vermont wildlife photographer CJ Hockett travels across the country for his art. He has been involved with photography since age 14 when he visited NYC and bought his first camera in Times Square. He attempts to reduce nature to its most basic elements and achieve a degree of abstract realism with his photos. The results are stunning compositions that speak for themselves.

Metal Prints

CJ prints his nature photography onto metal for a detailed and wildly elegant look. The metal prints are created by infusing dyes directly into lightweight, specially coated aluminum sheets for a satin finish. They float half an inch off the wall for a modern sculptural look. The metal prints have brilliant colors, increased vibrance and luminance, and the detail and resolution are unsurpassed. The prints are waterproof and scratch resistant, too, and can be hung indoors, even in a bathroom, or outdoors. Images range from 8”x10” up to magnificent, mural-sized renditions. You’ll always find a large display of CJ’s work at our Remarkable Things art gallery in Stowe, VT.

The Photographer

Photography wasn't CJ’s original focus. Prior to 1998, Hockett's life was dedicated to the Navy as an aviator, flight surgeon and navy psychiatrist. Field photography has taken him throughout the United States, Japan, Canada, and the Falkland Islands to photograph wild birds, mammals and occasionally landscapes. He resides in Burlington, Vermont but continues traveling across the globe to bring the wonder and beauty of wildlife into your home!

We’ve been carrying CJ’s photos at Remarkable Things for over 10 years. He is one of the talented Vermont fine art photographers we are so excited for you to discover! We hope you appreciate his art and its message of preserving the natural environment as much as we do.
