Marcie Scudder | The Ballet
A perfectly timed shot, this photograph captures the moment as six geese spread their wings in unison & prepare to fly. It is beautifully composed, the skyline is nearly indistinguishable from the surface of the water creating a single, smooth, white-gray gradient across the piece. The reflections of each goose can be seen on the perfectly still surface of the water. These geese are so in sync they almost seem to be performing some kind of choreography, their own ballet.
