Constance Gildea | Meadow Grass Firefly Ring
The Meadow Grass Firefly ring is a unique, handcrafted, pure silver ring with sparkling diamonds and a large saphire. Blades of meadow grass are intricately carved into the silver. The band itself is fine silver - 99.9 % silver vs the more common sterling silver. (Sterling silver has a purity of 92.5%, meaning that 7.5% of the alloy is made of copper or another metal, usually nickel or zinc.)
The golden highlights are hand applied by the artist. The engraving is a field of meadow grass. The diamonds are the fireflies. And the .10 ct sapphire is the setting sun. The three diamonds add up to .04ct total weight.
