Medium drum shaded table lamp. Hand forged, welded steel & reclaimed wood base. Shades: archival gicleé, handmade, signed, dated and individually hallmarked. Steel oxide pewter finial and pull charm. A giclee printing technique was utilized to create the design featured on the lampshade. Giclee printing use more paint sprayers than traditional inkjet printers allowing for much higher resolution images & prints that last far longer. This technique produces extremely high fidelity prints that better represent the original work. When illuminated the lamp produces a warm glow that highlights different aspects of the art, the shade is also selectively pierced to allow light to twinkle through different sections.
