Unique archival giclee (gee-KLAY) luminary created by Janna Ugone. The light is housed within a paper shade that can be lifted off the base of the lamp, a cord with an on-off switch exits the rear of the lamp base. A giclee printing technique was utilized to create the design featured on the lampshade. Giclee printing utilizes more paint sprayers than normal printers allowing for much higher resolution images. This technique produces extremely high fidelity prints that better represent the original work. When illuminated the lamp produces a warm glow that highlights different aspects of the art, the shade is also selectively pierced to allow light to twinkle through different sections.
