East Hill Farm
Jon Olsen's photographic print 'East Hill Farm' shows the beautiful stillness of Vermont winters. A snowy field is vacant besides the posts of a previous fence. Each winter, farms take down their fencing and leave baron poles standing vacant. They are strung again in the warmer months once their animals are safe from frostbite and the bitter cold. The sky in this photo sandwiches perfectly with the sloping snow field- showing a stark contract in color.
